Agenda

The Webinar will provide information about independent and integrated tasks included in the TOEFL iBT® test writing section. We will look into the scoring rubrics to determine what a successful response is like and what learning objectives classroom activities should be built around in order to help student succeed. There will be also time for Q&A.

Larissa Kral

Larissa Král, Regional Business Development Manager at ETS Global, based in Prague, Czechia.
She supports business growth objectives for core ETS products, such as the TOEIC® and TOEFL® Programs. Larissa has been working with ETS Global for more than 11 years. She received her Executive MBA from University of Pittsburgh, KATZ Business School, USA, Bc. in Financial Management from University of Hradec Kralove, Czechia. She was born in Kazakhstan. She fluently speaks Russian, Czech and English.

Marcus Siconolfi

is ETS Global’s English Language Training Coordinator for Spain and Portugal. Originally from New York, Marcus is currently based in Madrid, where he has taught English to students of all ages/levels, focusing primarily on Business English in the corporate sector and English for Academic/Specific Purposes in the field of higher education at Comillas Pontifical University. Marcus also has extensive experience in the area of teacher training and development, most recently as Senior Teacher Operations Manager at Busuu/Verbling (Chegg, Inc.), a leading online language learning platform, before joining ETS.

Presenter

Sena Gökçe Elibal İçuz

Sena is an ELT Coordinator based in Istanbul. She is responsible for outreach to the ELT community, creating content and delivering teacher training sessions. Previously, Sena worked as a university teacher along with her other academic and administrative duties. She has degrees in ELL and micro credentials in ELT. She is passionate about teacher professional development and increasing quality in ELT.
