PURPOSE

Wondering about how to effectively prepare students for the TOEFL iBT® Reading section and how to develop their academic reading skills? Join us for this webinar in which preparation expert will share her tips and strategies. There will also be time for Q&A.

Presenter

Haeng-A (Karen) Kim

Haeng-A is a qualified TESOL teacher who specialises in teaching TOEFL and GRE, and author in South Korea for test preparation textbooks. She has founded her online learning platform, karenglish.com, where self-diagnostic assessments that she developed are used as a learning tool for students to identify their learning needs and to autonomously improve their English skills.
Haeng-A is also a practitioner researcher in English Language Assessment affiliated to the University of Cambridge and a 2022 winner of ETS TOEFL Scholarship to attend and present in the IATEFL Conference in the UK.
Presenter

Joanna Wrzesińska

Joanna leads teacher training and outreach efforts in EMEA as the Head of ELT and Institutional Relations at ETS Global. She is also an ETS-approved TOEFL iBT® Master Trainer. Beyond ETS Global, Joanna is a volunteer committee member of IATEFL TEASIG.
She holds an M.A. degree in TEFL and is based in Poland. Before joining ETS, Joanna worked as a teacher and academic manager in the private sector.
